My Love Garden

Everything's Back to Normal

Posted by: かるめんです

My 2 aunties, younger uncle, family and I went to the house of my 2nd uncle's ex wife at Bukit Indah in Johore after the cremation of my eldest uncle. We rest and play cards there. Then went to a dinner together. I miss this feeling as a big family gathering together. Since the day my grandmother pass away 2 years ago, my eldest uncle and his family didn't go back to Kuala Pilah. I also didn't go back there during this year Chinese new year because I visited to my bf's hometown. Back to the story, we reach home at about 12 am yesterday. Though it was very noisy in the car because we three siblings were busy talking and debating some issues, I think we enjoyed it.

I wake up at about 10 am today. Everything seems back to normal. Parents go to work. Brother is still sleeping. My sister and I are online. But consciously my mind tells me that my eldest uncle is not exist in this world any more. The other way of my mind is allowing me to imagine my eldest uncle is still alive. It leads me to day dreaming awhile and then back to what I am doing. Just hope that my eldest uncle's family will be strong to move on without him. Though they didn't really show their emotions for the past few days, I can tell that they are sad deep down in their heart. They were busy for the funeral and never stopped to take a rest. At least now they have some time to rest. Loneliness might come into their lives and memories might flash back in their minds.

In another word, may be it was good for my eldest uncle to leave this world behind. If he lives on, it might be suffer for him and his family. At least, we were there to see him for the very last time. In chinese saying: at last we were there to 'send' him away so that he can rest in peace.

There were 3 past away in Chan's family. I'm really affraid who's next because everyone is also close to me. Nothing much we could do. The only thing we can do is to treasure whom are still alive - your loved ones...
